I graduated as a Crusader in spring 2016 from L’Anse Creuse High School-North, with honors and 3.8 GPA. While there, I was very involved in what went on in the building. I was an active member of the National Honor Society, Link Crew, Link Crew: A-Team, the Student Advisory Committee, Leadership Council, and The Leadership Program and Class. Some of my bigger involvements included being Vice President of my Student Council Executive Board and Council, honorary President of both the Choir and Drama programs, and being a co-host of the morning announcements for three years. My time there was the best and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of students and staff to learn and grow from. I love LCN with my whole heart and soul; I will always bleed black and gold.
I am currently studying at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI. I am studying to major in General Business Administration with planned minors in both Leadership and Management. I am also one of the Leader Advancement Scholars through the Leadership Institute. Though I do not plan of going into anything musical as a career, it was incredibly important to me that music continued to be a huge part of my life, just like it was in high school. So, I am currently a Bass in Central Michigan University’s Concert Choir, where I continue to express my passion for music. Though my time at Central has been short, I have already grown so much as a person and I look forward to where “Firing Up” takes me.
In February of 2016, I am leaving Central Michigan for second semester to take my first steps towards my future career. I am heading down to the sunshine state of Florida to take part in the Disney College Program, where I was accepted as a character performer. Though this is not a formal education, I will be learning the ropes of the company I hope to one day work for. I am very excited to take part in this program and I look forward to what is to come from my time working at The Happiest Place on Earth!
